Using a vast variety of repurposed materials including glass, ceramic, stone, and many other things, you’ll learn mosaic techniques to create something beautiful for your outside space. Perfect for beginners and experienced artists alike, this class offers a fun and relaxing way to explore your creativity while learning the specifics of creating artwork for exterior spaces. Workshop will cover tool use, design, and special techniques.  All materials provided. This class is open to all levels from beginning to advanced.

Learn the Art of Mosaic Series: Mosaic Heart

Join us for a fun and creative workshop. Using a special no grout technique, participants will make an 8" mosaic heart artwork. Workshop will focus on specific tecniques for no-grout mosaic work. We will cover design strategies, cutting techniques and use a variety of materials from broken plates to stained glass to create a truly unique heart. All levels of experience welcome.

In this two-session workshop, students will learn the basics of mosaic with an emphasis on the pique assiette style, which makes use of the colors, textures and patterns of repurposed ceramics and glass. Focus will be on tool use and cutting techniques with an emphasis on design specifically for mosaic. Students are encouraged to bring ideas and inspiration to class.

Exterior Mosaic, Installation Techniques
